Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced Monday that the team has waived forward Patrice Bergeron and center Kevan Miller.
The moves are effective immediately.
Bergeron, 26, has appeared in eight games for the Canadiens this season.
Zidliclicky, 29, appeared in six games with the Canadiens last season and has six points (three goals, three assists) in 25 games.
Both players have spent time with the New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Bergever is in the midst of a busy off-season, with several trades expected to be made this summer.
He also has signed forwards Tyler Kennedy and Tomas Plekanec and defensemen Marc Methot and Brandon Prust.
Berglund has also said he is on the lookout for a defenseman.
